Join us for a SotE Picnic!

Please join us at the annual School of the Environment picnic in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, Sept 7th. The goal is to welcome new and returning students, staff and faculty, catch up with alumni, and to share food and cheer with the School of the Environment community and those from the former departments: Geography & Environment, Earth & Climate Sciences, and Environmental Studies.

When? Saturday, Sept 7th, 2024 from noon until 3-4pm

Where? Tables 1 and 2 in Marx Meadow, off JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park (https://goo.gl/maps/w8N6xYsb3ocgvwpWA). Also, a short walk from Fulton at 25^th Avenue.

What to bring? Please bring...

• a picnic dish to share. This could be something to throw on the grill, a salad, a side dish, something sweet or chips etc. We'll have plenty of standard burger and hotdog condiments, bread rolls and buns, grilling tools, paper plates etc.

• Drinks you like to drink - we'll have coolers and ice

Also feel free to bring...

• Partners, kids, and friends (including four-legged ones)

• Your favorite reusable plate, cup and cutlery to save on ‘compostables’. 

• camping chairs, blankets, guitars, frisbees, balls or games as you like
